100+ BTC Recovered from MultiBit Wallet – Recovery Success
We have just recovered over 100 BTC (currently worth north of $2.5 million) from a long-forgotten MultiBit Classic wallet, which is one of the more cool crypto recovery stories.
The wallet was locked and inaccessible for years due to MultiBit’s discontinuation in 2017, it had been written off as lost. The client, an early Bitcoin adopter, had stored their BTC in the outdated software and lost access when MultiBit became obsolete.
